The people of the Foundation Amazonia Eware have been working for several years in the company Acuario Leticia, a project of conservation, production and commercialization of Amazonian ornamental fish. The project focuses on investigation, technology transference and social-organizational work with fishermen and producers. Acuario Leticia has strategic alliances with both public and private organizations.

We have always had the intention to work integrally with different Amazonian productive systems, conservation and sustainable use of the biodiversity and ecotourism. From the beginning of the year 2006 we have had the opportunity to work in these objectives from an estate. The property is called Centro de etno-desarrollo Ágape. After working for almost 16 years with interesting programs of etno-development and etno-education,
this important centre was abandoned in 2003. This happened because of different reasons, among them the lack of economic and personnel resources. Given its importance and the necessity to have a centre in where to continue developing this type of activities of etno-development and etno-education, the Foundation Amazonia Eware, assumed the commitment and the responsibility to rescue this centre. Currently we articulate different
actions with other organizations in favour of the indigenous communities and residents of the Amazonian region, within a true sustainable development.

We are a founding partner of the Corporation Red País Rural. This is a strategic network to support the technological development and institutional strengthening of the Colombian agricultural sector. The network brings together both agricultural suppliers and demanders. Its more than 340 members also include universities, NGO's, indigenous communities and agricultural institutes.
